Such a beautiful tribute. We all live in such hard times. May the victim's families find peace in this difficult time.

I'm faving your photograph because it's beautiful but also because I feel for the victims of the Greek situation. And I'm not only talking about the dead, cruel as this event is. The Greek people and the people in every country around the world are victims of an economic and social system that caused the global crisis in the first place. There is no sustainable humanitarian argument in favour of the draconian measures in Greece and elsewhere. It is the bankers and great financiers who should pay the price for economic recovery. Nobody is questioning the system itself. Quite on the contrary, the governments are willing to impose unjust measures weighing on the working population, who is not responsible for the crisis and should not have to pay for it. "Realistic" thinking aims at saving neo-liberalism. No wonder there are riots. What is really unsettling is the degree of docility in other countries.

My thoughts exactly, although we all have a part in this imo. We are the ones supporting such systems and Governments....will a revolution against Banks and Banking systems ever happen?

...and to think the world saved the "golden boys" last year.....

I wish a revolution were possible but the extreme weakening of the traditional Left weighs heavily on the events. There is really no one to lead a revolution. Possibly, it will be the system itself that will fall apart. But what will follow I don't dare imagine...
